Microsoft has launched a new website that assists startups. Mission The Microsoft Emerging Business Team (EBT) works with venture capitalists (VCs) and start-up companies worldwide to enable innovation and accelerate the software ecosystem. The Microsoft EBT mission is to identify and facilitate opportunity for start-ups and VCs, acting as the single point of contact and accountability to Microsoft. Skilnets training programme for software businesses

The Irish Software Association (ISA) are now taking bookings for the next round of Skillnets training commencing in October. "The ISA Skillnet is now seeking members from the software sector who wish to join our network. As a member you will personally benefit from over €5250 worth of training, business development and networking for a membership fee of only €1800"
