Skilnets training programme for software businesses

The Irish Software Association (ISA) are now taking bookings for the next round of Skillnets training commencing in October. "The ISA Skillnet is now seeking members from the software sector who wish to join our network. As a member you will personally benefit from over €5250 worth of training, business development and networking for a membership fee of only €1800"

The skillnets opportunity is something that a network like IT Northwest could consider. Skillnets operates on two year cycles, and 2005 will be their third two year programme. So if there was a particular area of training that the group felt would be common to all, the fact that there is a network in existence would mean a case could be built up. They usually send out a call for proposals around December. It would have to be relevant training etc, but I know that the IT association in Galway operate a skillnet, as to ISA.
